It is with sadness we announce a creative life has come to an end. We bid farewell to our former Managing Director Gisela Menzel.

As Senior Managing Director, Gisela Menzel had accomplished an extraordinary lifetime achievement: Gisela worked for Menzel Elektromotoren GmbH for a total of 68 years and raised three children.
Her empathy, fairness, and decency as well as her exceptional commitment and vision have characterized our family business over decades. Even into her old age, Gisela continued to actively shape our company. Her cordiality, her skills and her infectous enthusiasm will remain unforgotten.
At the age of 18, in 1940, Gisela Menzel started her first position at Menzel as an accountant. Some years later, she took over the general management together with company founder Kurt Menzel. It was not until 2008 that Gisela Menzel finally retired from work. Until the very end, she always showed an active interest in the current developments of our company.
We remember a wonderful person and a highly esteemed merchant who will long remain in our grateful memories.
To follow her legacy and example is our daily inspiration and biggest incentive.
