How is an electric motor actually made? For most people, the manufacturing of modern electric motors remains hidden from view. Yet electric motors are everywhere today: in industrial machinery, manufacturing plants, conveyor systems, building infrastructure, robotics, and countless other industrial applications.
To make this fascinating world more accessible, we created something that, to the best of our knowledge, has never existed before:
The first coloring book dedicated to electric motor manufacturing.
Based on real photographs from our production facility, we developed a thoughtfully designed coloring book that gives children and families an authentic look into the manufacturing of large industrial electric motors.
Real manufacturing becomes a creative experience
The illustrations are based on real-world scenes from our daily operations in Hennigsdorf, near Berlin, Germany.
From coil winding, machining, and welding to assembly and final motor testing, the pages showcase actual manufacturing processes and equipment. These photographs were transformed into child-friendly coloring pages that make technology approachable and fun.
Through this unique experience, children can discover how modern industry works.

Inspiring interest in a career that powers the future
With this coloring book, we are not only presenting our manufacturing processes.
We also want to raise awareness of a highly important technical trade that is essential to industry, yet often receives far less attention than it deserves:
Electrical machine and drive systems technician.
This profession combines skilled craftsmanship, electrical engineering, mechanical expertise, and modern industrial technology. These specialists build, test, maintain, repair, and service electric motors, helping ensure that machines around the world operate reliably every day.
Without electric motors, a significant portion of modern industry would come to a standstill.
That is why we believe it is important to inspire young people to explore technology and industrial careers from an early age.

Why a coloring book?
Children are naturally curious.
While many technical subjects are introduced later in school, a coloring book can provide an early and engaging first encounter with technology. It demonstrates that engineering and manufacturing can be exciting, creative, and accessible.
Perhaps a single coloring page today will spark an interest in a technical career tomorrow.
A small book with a big message
With this project, we want to show that:
- Industry can be fascinating.
- Electric motors keep our world moving.
- Technical professions deserve greater recognition.
- Inspiring the next generation often begins earlier than we think.
We are excited to take a new approach with this coloring book and offer families a special glimpse into a world that is normally hidden behind factory doors.
Together, we can inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and skilled tradespeople.
