International young talent award for a MENZEL Engineer

This year, Jannes Plietker, Test Field Technician at MENZEL Elektromotoren, receives special recognition for outstanding achievements in the international electric machinery sector. Recognition for Forward-Looking Engineering Work

Jannes Plietker was honored for his work in the field of partial discharge testing of high-voltage motors. His investigations contribute significantly to improving the reliability of electric motors - a topic of central importance for manufacturers and operators worldwide.

Since 2023, Jannes Plietker has been a member of the MENZEL test field team and has quickly established himself as a competent point of contact for demanding test activities. In his role, he oversees tests on MENZEL motors as well as third-party machines up to 13.8 kV, supporting customers on an international level. Particularly noteworthy is his exceptional commitment to the implementation and establishment of partial discharge measurement at MENZEL Elektromotoren.
